At 20:58 on Wednesday, 11 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved 3 saloon cars, 1 van, 1 motorbike and 2 jet skis alight. Crews used 2 hose reel jets, 1 covering jet, 4 breathing apparatus and 2 thermal image cameras to extinguish.
