At 10:06 on Wednesday, 22 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving engine compartment in van, this was found to be out on arrival of fire service personnel. Crews are dampening down and checking for any hot spots.
