At 08:21 on Tuesday, 30 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

One saloon vehicle 100% involved in fire. Fire crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet.
