At 12:45 on Sunday, 24 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One car 75% destroyed by fire, two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, small gear, breaking in equipment and thermal imaging camera used to extinguish.
