At 03:38 on Friday, 19 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale.

This incident was a false alarm due to a system fault of a smoke detector in a domestic property.
