At 10:18 on Saturday, 8 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: Shropshire Council.

This incident involved one saloon vehicle completely destroyed by fire. Crews used two hose reel jets, breathing apparatus and thermal imaging camera.
