At 13:23 on Monday, 3 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

One hatchback vehicle fully involved in fire. Crews used extended hose reel jets to extinguish the fire whilst wearing breathing apparatus. Police have been informed.
