At 11:33 on Tuesday, 8 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

One lorry approximately 15-20 tonnes, carrying wooden pallets involved in fire. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus' and 2 hose reel jets to extinguish.
