At 17:07 on Tuesday, 6 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Ellesmere.

2 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Ellesmere, Market Drayton, Oswestry and Whitchurch.

Contents of one Barn alight, fire has been extinguished by Fire Service Personnel.
