At 17:21 on Sunday, 11 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Ford Heath, Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involves 1 van and surrounding grass. Van 100% involved in fire. Crews extinguished and gave advice.
