At 07:52 on Friday, 1 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Bishops Castle .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

This incident involved one car on fire, which was out on arrival of Fire Service personnel. Crews used one hosereel jet and small gear to cool the vehicle.
