At 21:03 on Friday, 8 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involving fire in combine harvester. Crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire, and the thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
