At 22:10 on Friday, 8 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

One transit van 25% damaged by fire. Two breathing apparatus', two hose reel jets, thermal imagining camera and small tools in use. Crews made vehicle electrically safe.
