At 22:28 on Saturday, 16 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving one JCB. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Thermal imaging camera used to check for hotspots.
