At 16:01 on Monday, 6 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving mechanical fault on digger.
