At 21:33 on Tuesday, 14 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Woore.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One car fully involved in fire which had spread to nearby hedge and was extinguished by crews using two hose reel jets whilst wearing breathing apparatus. Crews checked for hot spots using a thermal imaging camera.
