At 16:21 on Friday, 21 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Whitchurch .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Prees.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a fire within the engine bay of a car. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire whilst wearing breathing apparatus and checked for remaining hot spots using a thermal imagine camera.
