At 19:28 on Sunday, 31 August, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Newport .

Fire appliances was mobilised from Newport.

Report of smell of smoke in ground floor of domestic property. Incident found to be a small fire in the utility room of the property which was out on arrival.
