At 13:23 on Sunday, 19 April, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Chimney rods

Chimney gear and thermal image camera in use. Advice given to occupier not to re-light fire until chimney has been swept.
