HGV Fire

At 15:41 on Saturday, 7 January, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Hodnet.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving LGV, the cabin and the engine were completely destroyed by fire. Two breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets in use. Police have been requested to close the road due to a large fuel spillage, local council have also been requested to clear the road.
