At 17:37 on Wednesday, 8 March, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Highley.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 saloon vehicle fully involved in fire along with 5m of hedgerow. 2 breathing apparatus 2 hose reel jets and small gear in use.
