At 16:51 on Tuesday, 21 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance including the Pinzgauer was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of fire in a hollow tree on Coton Hill Nature Reserve. Crews used main jet to extinguish fire.
