At 06:39 on Thursday, 4 October, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Cutters/Spreaders

One vehicle 50% involved in fire. One hose reel jet, 2 breathing apparatus in use. Holmatro spreaders used to gain access to engine compartment.
