At 20:31 on Monday, 8 October, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving the cab of a large goods vehicle. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 covering jet to extinguish.
