At 14:45 on Saturday, 23 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Lift Rescue Persons Locked In in Jackfield, Ironbridge.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Short extension ladder

8 persons trapped in a lift car released by Fire Service personnel using short extension ladder, following isolation of the power.
