At 15:03 on Saturday, 2 March, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

False alarm raised with good intent by a passer by mistaking mechanical engine failure for a fire.
