Station ground: Bishops Castle

At 03:07 on Wednesday, 6 March, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Lydbury North.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Clun. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm caused by fumes from boiler activating smoke alarms within the property.
