At 16:42 on Thursday, 16 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Cheswardine.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Bonfire which has spread to adjacent woodpile, approximately 4m x 10m in size.
