At 16:04 on Friday, 19 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in George Place, Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Report of smoke in the area which was found to be a fire involving a touring caravan. 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire.
