At 19:44 on Friday, 9 August, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire involving a chip pan in kitchen which was extinguished using a hose reel jet and 4 breathing apparatus sets. Positive pressure Ventilation was used to clear smoke
