At 12:01 on Sunday, 1 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tree Fire in White Grit.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Controlled bonfire that spread to nearby trees. Two hose reel jets and 2 breathing apparatus in use.
