At 05:21 on Thursday, 5 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Pylon in Much Wenlock.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire in a pole mounted 11,000v electricity transformer, extinguished by Fire Service personnel.
