At 18:14 on Saturday, 7 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Railway Embankment in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

Incident involving six seats of undergrowth on fire across 300m of embankment. One knapsack and beaters used to extinguish fire.
