At 03:31 on Monday, 20 April, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Reports of fire in the open which involved one domestic wheelie bin full of domestic rubbish. Fire was extinguished using one hose reel jet. Crews alsos used thermal imaging camera to check surrounding area.
