At 20:45 on Friday, 24 April, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

This incident was involving a fire in a brazier which was positioned too close to conifer hedgerow. Crews used one hose reel jet to dampen down conifer hedgerow.
