At 16:24 on Sunday, 26 April, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Childs Ercall.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Hodnet.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident involved wrapped polythene for crops, undergrowth, hedgerow and fence alight. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet.
