At 21:31 on Tuesday, 12 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Asterton Bank, Asterton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Fire involving patch of gorse approximately 10m x 5m in size. 2 hose reel jets used to extinguish fire.
