At 15:28 on Friday, 7 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving approx 20 sqms woodland.
