At 12:06 on Monday, 10 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Embankment.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, Newport, Telford Central and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving railway embankment and 2 acres of adjacent field. Crews using hose reel jets and beaters to extinguish. Incident support units from Tweedale and Newport are also assisting.
