At 14:32 on Thursday, 29 October, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water

Incident involving burning of waste at the rear of a shop. Extinguished by Fire crews using buckets of water due to the fire being located beneath electric cables. Advice given.
