At 23:57 on Wednesday, 4 November, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Smoke In Area in Shrewsbury .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of smoke in the area and smell of burning plastic. This incident was a false alarm, good intent. Crews investigated and town CCTV checked but no signs of fire.
