At 21:56 on Thursday, 12 November, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in off Whittington Road, Gobowen .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry.

This was found to be a false alarm caused by a controlled burning of waste. Advice given but no further action by Fire Service
