At 08:00 on Thursday, 3 December, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Smethcott, Church Stretton .

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Reports of a one vehicle RTC with one person trapped. One male casualty extricated from vehicle with assistance from fire crew and now in care of ambulance service
