At 07:18 on Friday, 5 February, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet and Wellington.

Road traffic collision involving one vehicle come to rest in centre of island after colliding with lamp post. One person self extracated with no signs of injury. Vehicle made safe by fire service. Small gear in use.
