At 20:25 on Wednesday, 10 February, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was caused by a build up of rubbish in the chimney, crews have used chimney rods
