At 23:45 on Saturday, 6 March, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving one car 75% destroyed by fire. Crews using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish. Fire of doubtful origin.
