At 12:11 on Wednesday, 17 March, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Bayston Hill.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Small gear

Reports of an electric cable being ruptured causing a fire within a wall cavity. Crews extinguished using 1 hosereel jet.
