At 20:42 on Monday, 19 April, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shawbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a bonfire which had spread to adjacent trees
