At 17:27 on Saturday, 24 April, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Gobowen.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving broken decking and clothing, crews used drag rakes and one hose reel jet
