At 19:21 on Monday, 6 September, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Area of hillside involved in fire. Crews are using one extended hose reel jet to extinguish.
